Scrapbook DIY Simple Idea 1 : Bunting

Creating bunting or banners  for your layouts is a simple effective technique that easily adds pop.  Check out two styles of banners I LOVE at the moment! They’re so simple and quick to do!

Scrapbook DIY Simple Idea 2: Clustering

A fun and creative option for scrapbook DIY embellishing is to use die cuts and layer them together to create mini areas of interest on your project.  Clustering is also a great option to use up tiny scraps you have left over from larger projects.

Scrapbook DIY Simple Idea 3: Tie it with Ribbon

In the video, I use two strips of patterned paper, that I  punched holes in with a single punch and then laced up tying the pieces of paper together with coordinating ric-rac ribbon.  This technique can be used along with clustering along the edge of your layout or as a border or anchor for your photo.

Scrapbook DIY Simple Idea 4: Make it Fluffy

Adding extra dimension to your work is particularly appealing for layouts that will be framed or on display and also works well for most beyond the page projects.

These die cut clouds are glued onto white polyester  wadding and cut around the edges so that the fluffy wadding shows on the outside.  One of the clouds has a silver lining, but as we know, all of them do really ;).

These clouds would work well with beaded dangles as raindrops or clustered with a moon and stars.  They could also partially cover a sunburst for a summer or beach layout.
